VINEYARD AREA :  3 hectars grouped in two plots.

SOIL AND LOCATION : 50% on sandy topsoil and clay subsoil. 50% on gravely top soil and clay subsoil. Plateau.

VARIETAL : 90% merlot.   10% cabernet franc.

AGE OF VINES : 30 years.

VINEYARD PRACTICES : Grass set up in the middle of the row.  Sustainable agriculture. Leaves thin out in July ; green harvest in August for strict grapes  selection.    Manual harvesting.

WINE MAKING : Grapes are sorted on table at the winery, then destemmed, and put to ferment directly in thermoregulated vats ; cold pre-fermenting maceration ; malo-lactic fermentation in new oaks.

AGEING : 12 months' maturation in barrels ; 30% of new oaks.

BOTTLING : Bottled at the Château. Wooden cases of 6 or 12 bottles ; magnums and double magnums are available.
