The Château Tournefeuille team invites you to tour this incredible vineyard with its wine cellars whilst you learn about the management of the vines and the production of wine. Finish your tour with a tasting of three house wines : Discover the history of the Libournais, wines, their incredible terroir and all the steps involved in their production, from fermenting to bottling. You can then step out onto château Tournefeuille ’s terrace which offers a stunning panorama of the Pomerol and Saint-Emilion regions with their prestigious landmarks : the Cheval Blanc and Petrus châteaux…

Stroll among the vines

At the foot of the Tournefeuille, slope, a lush green meadow runs alongside la Barbanne creek and a small pond. Explore the paths through the grapevines, following the signposts that tell you all about the history of the land.

    A stunning setting, a warm welcome, great wine and flawless service on the part of our hosts. We loved the tour + tasting as well as our night in the guestroom where we were lucky enough to be the only ones in the house. Our hosts allowed us to choose our own room (number 5 with its magnificent bathtub) and prepared breakfast for us at our preferred time. You can explore the estate and the land surrounding the château on foot and Saint Emilion is five minutes away by car. It was our first experience of wine tourism and we would highly recommend it.

A tour and tasting of three wines at Château Tournefeuille lasts around an hour.

 

In high season, we are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00-12:00 and from 14:00-17:00. We are closed on Sundays ; In low season, we are open by prior appointment only.

Cost : €12 per person, deducted from any purchase of six or more bottles.
